Stories of Our Trip Around the World
In the Spring of 2006, we set out on a 'Trip Around the World'. It was full of the most amazing adventures and experiences one could hope for.
We stopped for two days in Frankfurt, Germany before proceeding on the India. In India, we visited Mumbai (formerly Bombay), Agra (home of the Taj Mahal), Delhi, Varanasi, Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) and Arunachal Pradesh in the far eastern corner of India.
We moved on to Thailand, where we visited Bangkok, Kanchanaburi (site of the River Kwai story) and Anghor Wat temple complex in nearby Cambodia.
We finished our trip in China, visiting Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chongqing to Yichang through the 3 Gorges stretch of the Yangze River, Xian (home of the Terracota Warriers) and finally Beijing.
We are in the process of writing stories about our adventures. The links are below. Click on any link to read that story. When you're finished reading, click your 'Back' button to return to this page.
All are Acrobat pdf files, so you'll need Acrobat reader to view them. If you don't have this software, you
